		March 21, 2010 Annual WTTW Membership Drive


		Once again the Chicago-Northwest Suburban Chapter of CPCU will participate in the WTTW Channel 11 Membership Drive. Chapter members will gain fame and stardom by being seen on TV taking pledges over the phone. The date is Sunday, March 21st, 2010 from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (must be able to work the entire shift) Needed are 10 volunteers to participate in WTTW – Channel 11’s upcoming Membership Drive. Friends & family are welcome, but FCC regulations require participants to be at least 16 years old. We've had a lot of fun the last couple years, so please join us! The FIRST TEN volunteers will receive a CPCU baseball cap! It can be worn at the event to help publicize the Society. Yours to keep! If you are interested and available to participate in this effort to bring more visibility and recognition to the CPCU designation, please contact Sue Champley at 847-839-8850 or via e-mail at Sue Champley. The deadline for registration is Friday, March 1st. We are asking participants to wear shirts with the CPCU logo. Shirts in any color except white are acceptable. Event FAQ's Driving Directions Map

We accept Visa/MasterCard and American Express at the monthly meetings. Cash and checks payable to Chicago-Northwest Suburban CPCU are also accepted. All payments will continue to be made at the door as you arrive at the meetings.

Serving the Community - Eric Hubicki

Chicago Northwest Suburban CPCU chapter Immediate Past President Eric Hubicki of BMS Intermediaries, Barrington, IL, was invited to speak to students at his alma mater, Holy Cross High School on Thursday, March 4, 2010. He was part of a group of 14 alumni who spent the day talking about the impact that high school, college, career, ethics, and the business culture had on their lives.

Eric represented the insurance industry and included his involvement in CPCU and he also explained the benefits of obtaining his CPCU designation in his discusssions with the 200 students who atteneded the presentations that day.
