Please join us for our April chapter meeting as we welcome John Bader, Vice President Customer and Enterprise Services, Allstate Insurance Company, as our guest speaker. John is responsible for transforming the Allstate organization into one that provides value-added service, support and sales to our customers and clients through skilled and diverse people. He assumed this role in June 2007. He reports to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Cathy Brune.

John joined Allstate in 1978 as an Office Operations Supervisor in the San Diego region. John held Unit Manager and Division Manager positions in the Region and California ROC before being promoted to Associate Field Operations Manager in P&C Home Office in 1986. John returned to the field as Operations Manager in the Roanoke ROC, and then returned to Home Office as a Systems Division Director, then Director, in Technical Shared Services (TSS). He served as Assistant Vice President in Enterprise Infrastructure from 1996 until January 2003. At that time, he was promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure Services. In that role he was responsible for infrastructure engineering, operation services, enterprise information security, privacy, operational accounting, and all print services.

Johns many accomplishments over his career include: coordinating the consolidation of several data centers; managing the rollout of 11,000 AS/400 units and 35,000 PCs; implementing a 10,000-plus Agent Office Broadband Network; and managing the rewrite of Allstates policy-processing system. John holds a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Washington and he and his wife have three children.
