The chapter received a thank you note from the Lots of Love Toy Drive. Thank you to all participating chapter members for your generosity. Thank you note is below:
Today was the final drop off day at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn for the Lots of Love Toy Drive. This year, we collected over 870 toys with the help of family, friends, neighbors and even strangers.
A special Thank You! to the following community partners: ATI Physical Therapy in Elk Grove, Link Elementary School, Cub Scout Pack 495, Urban Air in Bloomingdale, Northwest Suburban CPCU Chapter, Tree Guys Pizza Pub, & The Trails Subdivision Children’s Party. These toys will be distributed throughout the year to children on both an inpatient & outpatient basis.
I was phenomenally blessed with the help of some amazing friends this year while I was away at school...Donna & Jim Loeppert, Chase Reabe and his family; Emily, Matt & Avery, and the Baker family. They assisted with not only the collection at OSUMC & moral support, but also went out into the community to help secure the above partnerships & collect toys. I would also like to give a shout out to my neighbor Katie Harrison who volunteered her morning and van to help us deliver the toys.
Many thanks to everyone for helping us spread Lots of Love this year and helping us put a smile on a child's face!
