Toys for Shriner's Childrens Hosptial
Our December 7th holiday mixer was held at Moretti's in Hoffman Estates. The Chicago Northwest CPCU Chapter partnered with Lycie Borkenhagen and her Lots of Love charitable project. Toys, books, and games were collected for Shriner's Children's Hospital. Lycie is a junior at Conant High School in Schaumburg. She has been collecting toys for children since she was in 5th grade. She got this idea because she felt it was important to put a smile on the face of all kids when they were in the hospital. Chapter Participates in Palatine Township's 2016 Thanksgiving Basket Program
On behalf of the Chicago-Northwest Suburban CPCU Society Chapter, Good Works Chairperson Cathy Gainer delivered baskets of food, along with gift cards, to the Palatine Township offices for the Thanksgiving season.
This long-standing practice of our Chapter provides two families in need with the necessary ingredients for a traditional Thanksgiving meal along with the funds to purchase a turkey, ham or whatever main course they like to serve.

Chapter Celebration: 40 Years and 99 New Designees!
On Thursday September 8, 2016, the Chicago-Northwest Suburban CPCU Society Chapter held a dual celebration. There was a great deal to celebrate.
It was the Chapter’s 40 anniversary and we were honored to have three of the Charter Members present to celebrate with us: Ray Normann, Bill Ross and Bill Smith. Each was presented with a certificate of recognition as well as some current CPCU gifts for their contributions to the founding of the chapter.
