From the Heart - Chapter President Val Pristera
Just back from the CPCU Annual Meeting in beautiful (and warm!) San Diego, California. It was my first Annual Meeting in 28 years! In Washington D.C., in 1990, I had hair and a waistline!
Comparing the two meetings, I marvel at how many changes our industry has seen. The topics today weren't even imagined in 1990:

Thanks to our chapter members' generosity we were able to support two classrooms through Donorschoose.org and Mrs. Schnaedter's class was one of those. The project was "Creating Lifelong Readers" for her 3rd grade class and the image is just one o the student thank you notes.

Hello! As I write this note in late February, there is a rumor that must be addressed.
SPRING WILL COME! The daffodils and tulips will bloom once more. The birds will be chirping in the trees. All the lost newspapers and other detritus will be found as the snow banks melt.
